I am really curious because if it is business it would be worth another $20 to get Business Stats and Behavior Science credit especially if it is listed as upper.
All of the stat courses were put under natural science/math. I'm not sure if the business stat could have been put under applied prof. or not. With all of them along with a couple other math courses I ended up fulfilling one of my depths. I didn't even think about fulfilling it with those courses, I was going to take other psych courses to fulfill my last depth.

I am sorry - I guess what I should have asked is which degree are you seeking - Business / Liberal Arts / Nursing. Which school allowed all 3 courses for credit is my true question?
Thanks.

Wow, this is a LONG thread. After sacrificing 3 hours of my life, I decided to sign my wife and me up for the ALEKS courses. She is at the Beginner's College Algebra level, I am taking Statistics.
Even though there is a long road ahead of us, these courses are actually quite addictive...so far.
Once a section is done (3 questions right) you move on to the next. If things go smoothly, we might be done really soon. I can also switch our courses from my master account, but will not do that until we are complete with these.
I look forward to transferring the STAT to TESC. 3 more credits down.
Thanks for all the help posting TONS of information. It couldn't be any easier. Didn't even have to post a "How do I do this" thread. It is all right here, and up2date at that...
Laters.
And I was wondering.... besides FEMA, ALEKS, and STRAIGHTERLINE... are there any other ways to get credits for things (besides CLEP, DSST, ECE)?

A list of professional certifications for which credit will be awarded at TESC is on their website at:
Thomas Edison State College | Other Licenses and Certifications
The list is not exhaustive as there is at least one forum member who has also received credit for the Cisco CCNA so maybe check with TESC if you have something similar which you are not sure about.
Excelsior, for example, award 7 credits for the ICDL/ECDL (International Computer Driving License).
If you visit the ACE website you can have a look through all the courses for which they recommend credit.
Good luck!

Thanks for your reply okiemom but isn't that kinda expensive? $60 or something like that per credit hour?

It was expensive but less expensive than taking 14 credit hours at a traditional school. Plus, those were the quickest 14 hours I've ever completed.

Why not do a couple more exams. It's about half the price, no? I am debating with myself with this, that's why I'm curious.
