I don't know how courses not on the list but taken prior to enrollment will be affected. You will have to speak to the registrar’s office or advising to see if older courses will be grandfathered in. Since these courses are accepted raw they may not. I would think whatever courses are approved at time of enrollment will be applied and carried through (at least that is the case on my evaluation).

Great info! Thanks for sharing this list. I noticed course equivalency EDM199 is shared by 4 courses and these courses all have co-requirements.
IS-701.a plus IS-775 = EDM-199
IS-22 plus IS-55 = EDM-199

Yes, this is how exceptions (do not know exact verbiage) are coded; and the description, instead of the title of that course, reads Spec. Stud. in Selected Topics.

How it appears on my evaluation:
1.. EDM-199... Spec. Stud. in Selected T 1.00 CR EDM-199
1.. EDM-299... Spec. Stud. in Selected T 1.00 CR EDM-299
1.. EDM-399... Spec. Stud. in Selected T 1.00 CR EDM-399

SandraNC, since you are the author of the credit equivalency documents if you could PM me your email I will forward you the pdf document. Unfortunately it was too large to attach here.

I asked Advising how prior approved courses are handled and the reponse was,

"...my understanding of the policy is that credits are accepted based on the date you took them. So if you took a FEMA course in April that we accepted then, but don’t now, we would award credit for that course."

Great news for older FEMA credits. Smile

Good news, but I always hate that "my understanding" part. Leaves it open to "gotcha!" moments when you find out later from someone in authority "that staff member was incorrect, sorry we sent you down a rabbit hole and wasted your time!"

I'm dealing right now with a rep who is trying to convince me that College Composition Modular is worth 6 credits when the TESC site clearly says it's only 3. That kind of mis-information could really cause someone a problem if they aren't doing their own homework.

(other than that, the rep is awesome btw)
