Welcome to the forum!
Excelsior is so flexible that there is no such thing as a clear roadmap that fits every person/situation.
You can choose exams/courses based on your priorities â your interests, prices, grades, and future plans.
Since you have so many FEMA credits, Iâll assume that you want an AS. (If you want an AA, you can see the differences here:
http://www.degreeforum.net/general-educa...#post68901)
Associate in Science at Excelsior College â 60 credits
General Education for AS â 9 credits in two areas and 6 credits in one area
Humanities â DONE!
Spanish CLEP - 12
Social Sciences/History â NEED 9 or 6 credits
Math/Natural Science â NEED 9 or 6 credits
Written English Requirement â 3 credits â taking through Straighterline
Information Literacy â 1 credit â NEED (through EC or Penn Foster)
Arts and Sciences â 3 credits â DONE! (through Spanish)
Arts and Sciences/Applied Professional â 29 credits â NEED 1 credit

An
optional Area of Focus is awarded with 15 credits in a single discipline.
Download the Student Guide to Credit by Exam to see your options for the rest of the Gen Ed credits in CLEP and DANTES. The DANTES with 2 digit scores are graded. CLEPs are not graded. (Also, ALEKS is a good option for math credit, but it is not graded.)
Youâll need to figure out the process to get your SL English graded.
If you are planning to go on to a Bachelorâs degree through Excelsior College, think about how you could use the General Education Requirements of the Associate degree to meet the 2 depth requirements of a Bachelorâs degree. -

If you are planning to go on to a Bachelorâs degree at another school, it is important to know their policies. They will say what you are required to take for all 120 credits and not just the last 60 credits.
Also note that EC appears to be making some policy changes that start for new enrollments on July 1, 2010. We do not know what all of the changes will be.
Congratulations on being so close to finishing your degree! With the help of members of this forum, 4 months should be plenty of time to get the last credits you need.
