Help !!!!!!!!!!! I need Managerial Accounting - which less stressful course to take
#1
Hello from N. Texas !!!

Please help......

I need a Managerial Accounting class for my degree at TESC in the 4 year Business Administration plan. Guys, I took Financial Accounting 13 years ago at a jr. college
but barley passed.

Gentlemen, I have a hard time balancing my checkbook !!!. I am not a math whiz or numbers person, so what college has the quickest, easiest, least stressful course on this requirement ???

I have been looking at StraighterLine, but unsure what direction to take.

I am open to all suggestions and comments on how to kill this requirement.

Finally, Happy Holidays for the upcoming season to everybody on this forum.

I'm not sure if you need Accounting 2, referred to as Managerial Accounting (ACC-102 with TESC) or Cost Accounting, referred to as ACC-303 with TESC. I've taken both with Straighterline and can highly recommend Straighterline for these courses, especially if you need to start from scratch.

The SL courses rely exclusively on the text book with helpful notes and video lessons built into the online course. All the test questions come from the book and the tests are open book and most answers, especially the vocab and true/false questions, can be found using the glossary or index. Additionally you are allowed 1 page of prepared notes so you can note difficult to remember examples or formulas etc.

Cost Accounting builds on Managerial Accounting so definitely complete managerial acct. first. I was able to complete both courses in about 15 days each with little experience or interest in the subject, though your result may vary. SL courses are far less expensive than college/university courses and probably only CLEP would be cheaper. SL is also completely self paced so you can finish as quickly or slowly as needed.

Both textbooks can be purchased by Amazon, abebooks.com or other discount book seller for less than $30 shipped.

Good luck.
