Or whatever it's called TECEP. I last took a math class in 2005 or so, but plan on taking this TECEP soon for residency requirements since they count for me being under the Military degree completion plan. My question is, how much is this Aleks stuff I read about? Is it self paced, do you receive a grade for it or is it Pass/Fail? I'm thinking of doing it just to get back into the hang of things before attempting a 100 dollar exam and possibly failing it. Any thoughts or suggestions?

This is one of the easier TECEP's IF you have passed (in my opinion) Intermediate Algebra on ALEKS. ALEKS is $20/mo, and you could take Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Precalculus, and Statistics (all will transfer to TESU).

I took college algebra and calculus and business stats in my younger days but looked at that pre test on the TESU site and feel that I knew nothing that's why I was wondering if I could use ALEKS as a refresher even if the classes won't count since I already have them on my plan at TESU from my brick and mortar days

You can take it as a refresher if you want. For $20/month, it's a great learning tool.
