IC for Bachelor level courses or Master level courses
#1
Does lower level credits refer to BA level courses and upper level refers to Master level courses?

In any case, does IC have any upper level exams available?

I don't think "upper level" is Masters level... I think it's more like...

lower level courses: 100 level courses
upper level courses: 200 +
Most of IC is for 200 + level

Hope this helps - someone will jump in quickly if I'm wrong on what I said.
You can't fail if you never give up
- Some ridiculous Zach Braff movie, but what a cool quote!!

I'm the king of procrastination. I first submitted my app to TESC in 1993. THIS will be the year of my degree completion!

PASSED:
CLEP-Information Systems & Computer Applications: Scored 62; Nov 07
CLEP-Analyzing & Interpreting Literature: Scored 57; Feb 08
DANTES-Criminal Justice: Scored 54; Jan 08
DANTES-Fundamentals of College Algebra: Scored 47 (and 47 is the req'd pass score! ); Jan 08
DANTES-Drug & Alcohol Abuse: Scored 57; Feb 08
DANTES-Ethics in America: Scored 55; Feb 08
DANTES-Organizational Behavior: Score 54; Mar 08
DANTES-Technical Writing: Score 58; Mar 08

FELL SHORT OF A PASSING SCORE (I'll never say the 'F' word):
ECE-Organizational Behavior: Score D (but passed DANTES version 2 hours later! Big Grin )

Mostly right. Smile Actually, what counts as "upper level" is determined by the university. Both upper & lower level courses are undergraduate courses. Generally, college-level coursework for undergrads comes in the following varieties (there are many schools that deviate from this standard.) At a traditional school, 100 generally corresponds to freshman courses, 200 to sophomore, and so on:

001 - 099 -- remedial/preparatory courses. Does not count toward degree.
100 - 199 -- lower level/introductory courses.
200 - 299 -- lower level at Excelsior; upper level at TESC
300 - 499 -- upper level at both Excelsior & TESC

When you get into the 500+ range, you're doing graduate/masters-level work or higher.

IC does have flashcards for upper-level undergraduate exams. You can probably access a list of those on the landing page for the site.
