A better metric for you would be how many degree plans you've written instead of how many credits you've earned. But the number would be ungodly.

Looks like just under 300 this year!!!  Thanks for making me do that exercise!!!

Not many, just discovered this site and had no money to spend. But, that situation should be better in the New Year. Right now I have a parent account at Study.com cause it's only $59 a month, so, I'm prestudying several courses so that when I can switch to the $199 plan I am already ready for the final on several.

Anyhow, just 8 this year, Essentials of Managing Conflict, Developing Effective Teams, American Government, and Western Civilizations I

I have to admit that now I want to take ALL the credits.. lol I saw some Jane Austen class referenced- I've read everything she ever wrote even the unfinished novels. I don't need the class for anything, but, sure would love to take it anyhow.

Wow, that's incredible. Wish I had known way earlier in the process that there were people (well, person) who did that. Would've had my degree a long time ago but didn't know what was going on! But it's been an awesome process for me to always be adapting my own plan and figuring out how I want to do it, so perhaps it was a blessing in disguise!

I can definitely sympathize with wanting to take ALL the credits (and with being flat broke!) Never thought I would actually WANT to take a Chemistry class

Don't forget that there are a lot of ways to get free and cheap credits, so you don't even need money to start - ModernStates/CLEP (free), Saylor, ALEKS, OnlineDegree.com, are all great ways to start racking up credit.

Keep in mind though that if you've planning on doing WGU then OD doesn't work
