Well, because of the heavy snowfall in Fort Worth (???? 12 in.??), my test was cancelled. So I'm taking it today.. I've had over two weeks of studying for this and I've hit the "screw it- i'm taking this- bring it on" stage... hope I pass.

Woohoo! Thank you Jesus.. passed with a 66.
![]() Dang, ok, this was a hard test, I'm glad I studied like I did. I was unfamiliar (meaning I didn't reacognize anything about the question) with probably around 2/5ths of the questions. There was one question about architecture, M I Pei, and that was it. There was a LOT of drama/poetry. I don't think it's cool how they expect you to interpret certain poems and stuff, that's so subjective! Take Analizing and Interpreting Lit. before you do this test.. my Humanities test was much like A&I Lit. There was nothing on my test about major artist/writers, i.e. Michaelangelo, da Vinci, Mark Twain, Defoe.. I was surprised. But it's good to know all the majors because they use them in questions indirectly. I probably over-studied for this, only because of the snow in Fort Worth and having to put off my test date.. Here's what I did: IC flashcards. I went through them slowly and wrote down all the correct answers on flash cards and a notebook. Wikipidia. I researched all the people I wasn't familiar with. I also looked up the stuff I was familiar with to make sure I knew more than one work. Practice text. I took one practice test and did very poorly.. I would say, don't take the practice texts seriously, just use them for further study. There were lots of questions about female artists and writers. Who was the female impressionist?? Also know Chaucer.. like why they were going to Cataberry (however you spell it) All the note on here about what to study are excellent. But again, like everyone has said on here, don't go deep, go broad. Glad this one is over, dang. ![]()

So i just decided today to take the Humanities test tomorrow and have done a little bit of studying through IC. WOW am i going to get killed. I didnt realize it was going to be this tough. I do have a quick question though, is the test fill-in-the blank or multiple choice?
