Im taking the humanities clep next week, and I am very nervous. I have been studying all these practice questions and plan on doing a few run throughs with the clep test prep book. Has anyone recently taken this exam that can give me any feedback on what the test was like or any preparation tips. Its greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Your best source for feedback is the "Specific Exam Feedback" section of this forum. Since you are a paying member of IC you have access to this part of the forum. You will find lots of info on the Humanities test in that section.

Hi bgovan,
I haven't taken this exam, but one thing I would suggest other than using the Specific Exam Feedback like creative said would be to try some Petersons practice tests. I find them very helpful. Here is the
link. Also, Ponygirl93 has a humanities chart or study guide, I think, that a lot people use. Try sending her a PM or searching the forum for the post about it.
Hope this helps and good luck.

I feel OVERWHELMED!
I bought the Barron's Clep test book and it is overwhelming so I joined here and have been using the flash cards.
The test is multiple choice right? The flash cards are mainly fill in the blank and if you spell wrong you get it wrong.
Any other feedback on what to concentrate on or will help me too and be appreciated.
The practice test in the book are multiple choice but ranges from all various topics and things that a jeopardy contestent would need know.
I would like to know about ponygirl's study guide or from anyone that has taken this test.
It seems like a beast.

The exam is multiple choice. The IC flashcards are a "tool" to aid your studies. By filling in the blanks of the flashcards it is helping you remember the concepts or material--it is not a test--just a study tool. Here is the thread
http://www.degreeforum.net/general-educa...stion.html for Ponygirl's notes. Since you are a IC member you have access to ' Specific Exam Feedback' where there is a ton of info from other people who took the test-- they tell you what to focus on, how difficult it is etc. There are also some other people's study guide spreadsheets in there too. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend the free Peterson tests that Horsemaniac mentioned. That will help you a lot!! Best wishes!
