Is it possible to pass a Shmoop course w/o the final?

Strangely I have the little green banner that says "CHeck it out: You've earned a certificate of achievement for Women's Literature" but all I did was finish the units. I have not yet taken the final. It's on my dashboard as well under "earned college credit". Is this probably a glitch?

You have to take the final to pass / gain the ability to add it to your transcript.

I forgot I made a thread about this because it wound up being discussed elsewhere. But yes, correct, Shmoop emailed me to let me know you definitely have to take the final.
