MBA with no proctored exams

A few exams in accounting, finance and economics.

Hmm makes me wonder why are you asking for non-proctored exams... Is there a reason? It is kind of suspicious to ask for a school like that. Not accusing you of anything but sounds like you are looking for a way to do your exams the easy way (possibly using Chegg or other internet sources). If the exams are proctored it prevents cheating or help from others. What good is an MBA if you cant pass exams to prove your knowledge? Now if you are looking for a program that is more paper-driven that's a different story. Just saying...

Some of us have had HORRIBLE experiences with proctoring and don't want to deal with it. Examity is an absolute nightmare especially for someone who suffers from testing anxiety. That was my biggest complaint about LSU was Examity. I don't have proctored exams at Amberton and that's one reason I went there over WGU. It's mostly papers and most exams are open book. Doesn't mean everyone uses the book. Doesn't mean everyone even has the book.

Yeah I was so nervous for my PMP as I am HORRIBLE at exams. I 100% prefer essays and am even good with zoom calls with professors testing knowledge live. But not a hardcore exam if you mess u p you fail lolyou.

It sounds like you have never used Examity or ProctorU. Or, if you have, you have been miraculously exempt from their significant failings. They are dramatically different than RPNow.

I've attended 7 colleges in butts in the seats programs. The professor watching over students taking an exam is so different than an online proctor. Doesn't sound like you've experienced the nightmare known as Examity. They can take 20 minutes or longer to connect you to your exam. Often times they can't get in and have to get someone else. They make you move your camera 100 different ways. They are very difficult to understand. Some make up rules that your school doesn't have. They don't mute themselves so you hear people screaming or crazy loud music. People taking exams in a classroom have peace and quiet. There's no talking. You don't have to wait to be connected. You get your exam and you start. You don't have someone ask to move your camera so they can see the inside of your clear glass of water. Seriously. That happened to me. After I started my exam. Exams are often timed so every time they interrupt you they are taking time away from you along with your concentration and focus. I will NEVER be in a program again with proctored exams. There's no need to as there are many options available.

I don't LIKE ProctorU or Examity, they're both a pain and inconvenient. But the way people talk about them is completely overblown.

It's all to prevent cheating. Yes, I have taken exams on ProctorU in the past. If you want to take online courses that comes with the package. Most schools are using it, have you seen the news reports about cheating.

Unfortunately, it has come to the point that universities are using proctored exams to uphold the integrity and honesty of students when taking exams as a new trend has been emerging for years.

I haven’t had the bad experiences of proctoring that some have had. I like the luxury of taking exams in the comfort of my own home on my time schedule. With that said I can certainly understand that some may not like taking proctored exams, to each his own. The nice thing about today is that there are so many more options available to people who want to earn a degree than there were 15-20 years ago. Find what works for you and go for it.

I had several issues with ProctorU and that's why I left LSUS. It would log me off in the middle of a test and I would end up with that grade. When I would protest to ProctorU they said to talk to the professor. The professor would tell me since it was a tech issue there's nothing they could do. Tech problems are covered in syllabus. I went as far as buying a new laptop. I figured maybe it was my laptops RAM. Unfortunately, proctorU would still crash.
