An online DBA in India? I thought India frowned upon online degrees. Or is that just US online degrees?

Yeah, it was talked about on the sister board last year. Interesting read to say the least: https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?thr...rthy.46727

You're right of course. A silly mistake on my part.

Manipal GlobalNxt and a few other universities in India, Malaysia, or Philippines have very affordable tuition plans. The South American options are affordable already but these are much cheaper it seems. Thanks for the pricing/tuition details... This school is already in my list of alternatives options for my future studies...

I was very close to registering, everything was good with that university... but sadly Malaysia is not recognized by Peru.

For comparison, since you mentioned South America, in Peru the DOCTORADO EN GESTIÓN DE EMPRESAS from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, costs around USD$ 8,000.
They are teaching entirely online for now, but there are big pressures by authorities to return to on-site lessons.

I noticed on the picture you have, it has an * or two/three on some countries, what does that mean? As Spain has one of these along with another country or two, Brazil and Paraguay.

For Spain, is as you could have guessed: We only recognize "Títulos en nombre del rey" and "We don´t recognize Títulos Propios".
For Brazil, it only means that you can only have your degree recognized here, if you are Peruvian (in other cases, it doesn´t matter your nationality).
For Paraguay, it says that you can have those degrees recognized here, but only for teaching or further study. Not for professional activities.
