I'm attempting to use Saylor for some of TESU BSBA CIS requirements.
First of all.. I have got to say.. I absolutely love Saylor's method of presentation. The learning modules are great and the practice final exam is FANTASTIC!
I have one question about the service though. Saylor says that a password is required in order to take the "for credit" final exam. Is this password something I receive from proctor U? or do I get it from Saylor some how?
Thank you in advance!

--MBA (2/10 : 4.0)
I started this journey in the summer of 2016. I hoped to be done sooner, but I am still proud of the rate at which I have gotten my schooling done with respect to the many months of military training and deployments I have undergone.

Your ProctorU proctor will enter in the password.

Well, this is a new one for me! Everyone usually complains about how cumbersome the courses are and how they include too much material beyond what's necessary. I'm glad you're having a better experience. What courses are you working on?

I'm taking Business Statistics here in a few hours. I'm also roughly half way through the corporate communication lessons, so expecting that one to be coming soon as well.
Even if it does give "extra material," I'm completely fine with it. After having just used straighterline, where it didn't even give me half the information that the test brought up, I'll settle for too much info cheersmate

OP, what! You've taken the Straighterline Business Communications course and the Final is not the same as what's on the topic exams??
That's strange, I am going to be doing the final and was studying what I did for the previous exams/midterm! I am doing the Saylor too.

Sorry for confusion.. I took straighter line Business Law. I have no experience with Bus Comm from SL. However, the rest of the statement is correct. Material did not match the exam. Did not enjoy their service at all.
The thing is.. had I been presented the information in the lessons, then gotten to the test and seen it, even if I didn't know the answer, I would at least remember the name of the topics and think: damn I forgot this. This is NOT the case. At least 60% of the exam was material I had never even seen before. I studied everything listed +some.
It may work for others.. I was unimpressed.

I was turned off by the 100+ hours recommended for some of the courses, so I wasn't interested in them. After looking into it more, I am considering taking a shot at the one for Macro Econ. Not going to use the course, but Khan, a book I have, and the IC flashcards. Might save me half a day of vacation.

For both Econ courses, I would highly recommend the acdc economics YouTube videos.

Did you watch just the overview/review videos, or all of them? For macroeconomics alone, there are 86 videos
