Hello all!
I understand that there have been some changes in what TESU will accept as upper level/lower level credit. This is what I think may be my easiest/fastest way to a TESU Psychology degree:
A. Intro to Psychology 3SH (Completed) PSY-101 Intro to Psychology – Sophia – 3 LL
B. Experimental 3SH (Not Started) PSY-105 Research Methods in Psychology – SDC – 3 LL
C. Social Psych 6SH (Not Started) PSY-104 Social Psychology – SDC – 3 LL
PSY-316 Advanced Social Psychology – SDC – 3 LL
D. History/Systems 3SH (Not Started) PSY-312 History & Systems – SDC – 3 UL
E. Physiological 3SH (Not Started) PSY-303 Physiological Psychology – CCC – 3 UL
F. Developmental 3SH (Not Started) PSY-103 Human Growth & Dev Psychology – SDC – 3 LL
G. Abnormal 3SH (Not Started) PSY-302 Abnormal Psychology – CCC – 3 UL
H. Ethics Soc Sci 3SH (Not Started) SOC-108 Ethics in the Soc Sci – SDC -3 LL
I. Statistics 3SH (Completed) STA-201 Intro to Statistics – ALEKS – 3 LL
J. AOS Electives 6SH (Not Started) BUS-323 Organizational Theory – SDC – 3 UL
PSY-301 Industrial/Organizational Psych – SDC – 3 UL
*** At least 15 of the 36 credits required within the AOS must be upper level (300/400) ***
Capstone 3SH (Not Started) LIB-495 Capstone – TESU – 3SH UL
Any questions, comments or suggestions? I welcome your thoughts on this.
Thank you,

I might swap out PSY-316 Advanced Social Psychology – SDC – 3 LL and do the UExcel Exam instead, for UL credit there.
I wish TESU would accept the ACE-recommendations for PSY 311: Physiological Psychology and PSY 316: Advanced Social Psychology which both got upgraded to UL in 2019!

Hi dfrecore!
I'm going to try to put that off for now as the UExcel exam is $355. I was hoping that SDC would have everything I need, but Coopersmith seems like a good alternative. For $150 you get the exam and study materials. I'm just a little nervous because I'm not a very good test taker.
Any idea why TESU won't accept the ACE recommendation for those courses?

That particular UExcel exam is only $110 + test center fees. Not $355.

Thanks dfrecore!
I was looking at the abnormal psychology UExcel
https://www.excelsior.edu/exam/abnormal-psychology/
instead of the social psychology UExcel
https://www.excelsior.edu/exam/social-psychology/
$110 is a very good price and may be an option at some point. But for right now, not being a very good test taker, I would probably be better off trying the exam with the study materials Coopersmith provides.
What do you think my next step should be? Send an email to TESU advising asking if the list of courses/exams will work? Would they do that?
