I got a reply from TESU, good news for BACS students:

Quote:Yes, Software Engineering, from Saylor, will transfer to TESU as CIS-351. This credit will count as upper-level credit in your computer science elective area.

So we just need clarification on the Computer Communications & Networks course at Saylor? It's either CAP-216 and cannot be used in the CIS AOS, or it's CMP-354 and CAN be used in the CIS AOS...

One other question, the MAR class you are showing, how does it fall under CIS electives?

It is the Study.com Digital Marketing course. I guess since it is digital and has to do with technology it falls under CIS because it is business related. I was pleasantly surprised when it was added to my evaluation. I will take 3 easy upper level credits any day of the week.

So you could do this MAR class, the two from Saylor that are upper level, and the System Analysis and design and have all your UL credits knocked out it seems?

Yes. That is my understanding. Make sure you get confirmation.

I've done a course before from sources I misread on here and wasted a course when it didn't transfer.

So best to get confirmation in writing but yes that sounds like a solid plan.

Remember they accepted the two free TEEX courses for me at Upper Level. Maybe they can help as well.

Can Saylors Intro to Computer Science 1 and 2 be used for Understanding the Natural and Physical world for TESU BSBA? I need 6 credits but looking over Saylors Bio and Chem courses looks like torture..
