Hello again all,
I'm looking at the Big 3 because of their rather lenient requirements for getting a degree.
I'm still planning on going to SPSU here in GA for my Bachelor's, but in order to improve my hire-ability, I think it would be optimal for me to earn some sort of Associates' Degree. Here are my CLEP and DSST Scores. I'm not due for my Bachelor's in Computer Science for at least two years (I'm working 20 hours a week, but I'm also trying to maintain a 4.0 GPA).
CLEP-
Analyzing and Interpreting Literature 52 (3 hrs of ENGL 1102 at SPSU)
British Literature 58 (3 hrs of ENGL 2120 at SPSU)
College Algebra 62 (3 hrs of MATH 1111 at SPSU)
Precalculus 53 (4 hrs of MATH 1113 AT SPSU)
Psychology 51 (3 hrs of PSYC 1101 at SPSU)
DSST-
Intro to Computing 429 (2 hrs of CS 1002 at SPSU)
Statistics 429 (3 hrs of MATH 2260 at SPSU)
World Religions 405 (3 hrs of RELG 1200 at SPSU)
AP-
Microeconomics 4 (3 hrs of ECON 2106 at SPSU)
Classes at GPC (all grades were 4.0's)-
ASTR 1020 Stellar and Galactic Astronomy 3 hrs
ASTR 1020L Stellar and Galactic Astr. Lab 1 hr
CHEM 1151 Survey of Chemistry I 3 hrs
CHEM 1151L 261 Survey of Chemistry I (Lab) 1 hr
MATH 2431 Calculus I 4 hrs
HIST 1111 Survey of World Hist to 1500 3 hrs
POLS 1101 American Government 3 hrs
ARTS 1301 Art Appreciation 3 hrs
COMM 1201 Public Speaking 3 hrs
ENGL 1101 English Composition I 3 hrs
PHED 1101 Choices For Life 1 hr
Any guidance from you all would be much appreciated.

I just took a quick look and I assume your courses are semester hours. For an AA or AS in Liberal Arts at EC, I think you would only need Info Lit and the Capstone course to finish. The total cost would be about $2700 plus Info Lit.
Edit to add:
This thread (first link) may be too out of date. I know that the Gen Eds and Capstone have changed at EC. It may still give you an idea of how close you are at the other schools, too. You'll need to check if COSC requires the Cornerstone or Capstone courses for associate degrees now.

TESC is a little more expensive than Excelsior when testing out or transferring in all of your credits for an associates; but, you can easily get an associates in computer science, computer studies, or some other subject without having to take a capstone, cornerstone, or information literacy. If you're just wanting a general studies/liberal arts associates, then COSC is the cheapest. If you want a degree in a different subject, you have to go with EC or TESC.

My apologies, I should have been clearer that I meant they are semester hours.

Looks like COSC or TESC is the way to go, seeing as I live in GA, and I'm guessing I probably can't do this online?

Make that just TESC then.
I have yet to take any CS classes and am working on that presently. Hopefully I get an Associates rather soon.
This is mostly for my job security.

Do you want a specific degree or will an AA be okay? It looks like you would only need English II for TESC's AA. According to this cost chart (thank you Rebel!), it would cost about $2900. http://www.degreeforum.net/excelsior-tho...post130247

The cornerstone at COSC and the capstone at EC can be done online.

$280 Graduation Fee
According to the link, so even if I'm only enrolled for one semester out-of-state for that Cornerstone, it would still cost me that much? I figure that Enrollment fee would be for multiple semesters?
I did take A&I Literature, which is ENGL 1102 at SPSU. Is it not equivalent at TESC?

TESC has a capstone course for bachelor's degrees. ($663.00 Cornerstone - it should say "capstone".) You won't need that for an associate degree.
Yes, you will have an application, enrollment, and graduation fee (about $2900 total). Your enrollment will last a year should you decide to pursue another degree with TESC.
No, TESC does not accept A&I Lit toward the English requirement. There are other options like CLEP and SL for English.
