Yup and there's often a like to a page listing what accreditation is accepted.
But honestly they almost always just mean 'on a college transcript (for credit)' - so with what we talk about here (now in 2023) would almost never be an issue (having ACE, NCCRS, etc credits). Keep in mind that a few CPA focused people here have strongly urged people to take the accounting courses in the more traditional way, because even though the alt credits can allow you to take the exam - often the traditional courses can prepare you better for it. I suspect the requirement working under a CPA for 'X amount of years' (a common requirement) prepares you the most
