Thanks Zenurez, I'm glad if this could help. However, I haven't taken any law or principles of finance with Straighterline. I'm sure those will be more difficult, however, the business ethics being my first course wasn't exactly a walk in the park, though it was easier than I'd thought it would be. If that is any indication of the other courses, then hopefully they will work the same way. I have also heard that the science and math Straighterline courses don't work this way and require more study and work, but I already took CLEP exams for those requirements by the time I found out about Straighterline. Please bear in mind that I was unemployed and looking for work while I was taking the Straighterline courses, and that is part of the reason I was able to complete so many so quickly. Even so, I expect I could complete one course a week while working--which is still considerably quicker than studying for two weeks per CLEP/DSST. Also, please be aware that Straighterline is moving toward having all of their finals be closed-book (as opposed to open book). If I was you I would check below to see which courses still have open book finals and take those first.

Also, I guess they don't offer Principles of Finance, I just wanted to clarify that before I confused someone.
I currently get about 24 hours per week to study, but my goal is to try to pass a course every 10 days. I'm sure at some point I'll end up taking closer to two weeks, but so far I've been able to maintain that pace.
Currently I'm looking at:
Business Communications -closed book and has a written part. I could take this at Saylor, but I really dislike their study materials. I don't really want to take the TESC class . ..so . . . not sure where to go with this one yet.
Business Ethics -open book
Business Law -open book
Organizational Behavior -open book
Managerial Accounting -open book
Financial Accounting -open book
Principles of Management -open book at SL although I might CLEP it . . . .IC has 607 flashcards on this. . .so I guess it just depends on which learning format I prefer.

I have 8 clep/dssts down. I have Intro to business law, business communications, business stat, business ethics up next. Any recommendations on DSST/Clep Vs Straighterline? I've had great success with Clep/DSST so far, but it seems it might be faster this way. I have to sign up for BUsiness communications, so if I can get another class done the same month it sounds like it would be a better deal.

I have 97 credits and I've done most with CLEP/DSST and only 3 with SL. So I don't have a huge experience with SL. My opinion is that if the SL class is ONLY tests and no writing (like Business Ethics), then SL was much faster. But if SL is going to require writing papers and other assignments besides tests, then you may want to do the DSST or CLEP.

My recommendations:
Business Law - CLEP (IC flashcards, specific feedback, REA book, quizlet)
business ethics & society - DSST (IC flashcards, specific feedback, quizlet)
intro to statistics - ALEKS
business communications - straighterline
Dependent upon your comfortability (prior experience) with subject matter, you could easily knock out all four exams/online courses within a month.
Someone had attached a google docs download link for the a business law ebook on the forum; try the search feature, hopefully you'll locate it. The pdf file is too large to attach here.

Thank you for your recommendations. I'm going with Business communications and Ethics on straighterline, since monthly fee is $99 and it was by one get one for the courses. Its very easy so far. I just need to take the final exam, but don't even need that high of a score because of my quiz grades. I think I will go back to clep tests for Business law. I'll search for the ebook , thank you.

I just passed the Business ethics final.(95% on final, 91% on test) Here is my feedback:
The PDF ebook is a must. I would not have done so well if I had to look things up on the physical book. Questions are very hard and tricky on the tests, but with Control+F, and proper searches you can find the answers to 99% of the questions. The final exam pulls questions from test 3 and 4. Study the correct answers and you'll be good to go on the final. I'd say 80% of the questions were repeats that I had already seen. I knew most of them immediately, but still had the ebook to confirm the ones I wasn't sure about. I finished this class in 3 days. Very easy I would recommend straighterline for this course.

The Business Ethics course thru SL is no walk in the park. In fact, it is tedious and hard to pass. I have found it to be outdated and slow moving. I would not choose this route to obtain these 3 credits. Use CLEP or DSST or some other way to receive your credits for a business ethics course.
