TESU says that for Study members the residency waiver rules do not apply to them. It is not changing as of April 1st. TESU and Study are still under contract and will stick to the old rules.
I was talking to the lady on the phone about paying my residency waiver and she said 5 people had called today and she wanted to let me know that they are under contract with Study.com and that for now, the new rules will not apply to affiliate study members.
I asked her when they would be changing she said she did not know but she is being told that the new rules do not apply to study.com affiliate members
That being said I am still paying mine before April 1st.
Study.com will you please shed some light on this?
Study.com Wrote:Hi Everyone-
We are sorry for all the confusion! Due to our partnership with TESU, Study.com members can still take advantage of the special price of $1800 on the residency waiver fee. This price will remain the same for Study.com affiliate members despite the increase in price to $2500.
Best,
The Study.com Team

By rules, you refer to the new pricing, I suppose. The wording here is confusing; is this saying that the RW fee for study.com affiliate members is still $1800?
Sounds like they just haven't implemented the new price yet, maybe they're waiting til July; otherwise, this would make the affiliate pricing at a 47% discount.

I apologize for the confusion.
I spoke to the office of the bursar this morning.
Per conversation,
1. new price changes will not be affecting study.com members and that members will still get their affiliate pricing at 1800$. (i take that meaning it is locked at 2000 instead of going to 2500)
2. They have a contract with study.com and the new rule changes will not change the agreement previously had with study.com
3. They do not know when the new pricing will be affecting study.com members
My suggestion would be to go ahead and pay the registry fee ASAP, or email the bursar office and get it in writing that if you pay by x date it will still be 1800.

But if we're not ready to apply for graduation yet, can we still pay the residency waiver, and how do you apply to pay it?
