If the grad school of choice is only looking for an RA degree, and not a certain number of graded semester hours, you should be okay. Having a LA degree, you might have pre-reqs to take to get into a subject-specific grad program, for example, intro accounting and economic courses, etc., for an MBA program.
I m edumakated thanx to distunce lerning.

If your graduate program is very specific or at all competitive, you're going to need some upper level courses in your field that aren't covered by CLEP/DSST/etc. Check the grad programs you plan to apply to. You may find that by the time you've satisfied the prereqs, you're only a course or two away from a specific major at TESC.

Some MBA programs let you use CLEP/DSST exams as prereqs. If you already know what you want to study and where, check into their specific admissions requirements.

If you are even considering an MBA do a bsba. Its not that much more of a stretch from a bals and can be done through testing out and some great options like straighter line aleks and Penn foster.
A bsba will allow you to skip past the mandatory leveling courses that most MBA degrees require and will prepare you for more advanced graduate work. Liberal arts courses are awesome and I highly recommend them but the business curriculum is filled with knowledge from all disciplines like psychology, history, math, economics and writing. If you want to grab a bsba cis from thomas Edison you will have the support of the members of this board. Of course I shamelessly plug tesc ![]()
