The wait is over...grade for the final capstone project is in! Now I really don't know what to do with myself. I think I just did some gymnastic move here in the office. Coworkers looking at me like I'm nuts. How long does it take for my grade to go to the Registrar? Any idea what I'm supposed to do next?

Apply for graduation (and pay the fee), if you haven't already. After that, you just wait for the registrar's office to audit your credits, which will happen about two months before graduation.

The deadline for Sept graduation was July 1st, so you'll qualify for Dec graduation. Which means you'd be going to the Sept 2017 commencement, if you planned on attending

I applied months ago. I let the graduation office know that I had an extension to complete the capstone. The extension is good through September 30 but I only needed 10 days. I was told I will have a final audit on September 1st and the capstone grade must be in by then. I just got the last grade for the capstone so know I need to make sure it gets posted. I haven't been audited yet for either degree.
I know I'm good for the AA but there's a chance I won't get the BA until December. I will do my best to get both degrees next month.

LadyLearner, I didn't even notice you were trying to graduate in Sep with your BA as well as your AA. I would think it's way too late, but you want to email the registrar's office post haste with the good news and ask them to reconsider you for Sep. Don't hold your breath.

I only filed for the AA as a backup plan. Right now I'm just waiting for the official degree audit.

I'll be graduating, and really wanted to go to the ceremony. However I now have a small amount of money saved that I can do one of two things with: 1) Go to commencement OR 2) Pay to take the GRE and apply to graduate school. As much as I would LOVE to go to commencement, even if it were just me flying in by myself across the country and going, it seems like spending the money on graduate school is probably smarter for me in the long run. Who knows though, maybe I'll suddenly come across a large sum of money or a client that wants to pay me some large amount up front LOL.
I'll be cheering everyone on though even if I can't make it there!

I totally understand. I'm sure it will be a great experience but an expensive one, depending on where you live. But there's still time for you to get that generous client, right?
