UMPI Questions - Application & Courses
#21
Just an FYI, basically... none of the UMP degrees (at the time of this post) are STEM related, the only one close to it would be the BBA PM & IS, it's a business degree with a PM & IS concentration. The BAS is an applied science, not a STEM degree, as you can put all the PM & IS, plus the Management classes into it, to make a triple minor that I've told people about.

It makes the BAS more of applied science plus business degree, and you can throw in the classes that can transfer into the MAOL. At this juncture in time, I would highly advise what I've always mentioned, a balanced mix/match of certs, degree, experience... Skip the BAS, go for BBA PM & IS, get the MAOL as the 3 classes that can transfer are already part of the BBA.

When you've got these done, you can then decide to do the STEM degree of your choice, as you can transfer everything but the major into that degree. I suggest the UMPI Comp Sci when it comes out in fall/winter of 2025 (hopefully), or something similar from another institution by transferring the max into that degree and institution. Good luck, have fun, keep us updated...

Thank you for the information, honestly you've been a ton of help. You're a wealth of knowledge on this topic. I did notice the Comp Sci degree and am definitely doing that when it comes out!
