University and community college?
#1
The college I would like to go to does not accept CLEP credits, but it does accept credit from other colleges. My mom said that I could do CLEP tests and then transfer them to a community college and then transfer the community college credits to the Uni I want to go to.
I think that makes sense. Would that work?
Also, would I transfer my CLEP credit to the community college near me or near the Uni I'm hoping to go to?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

they will see those credits (pass/fail) are coming from Clep, it wont work, if you wanna Clep/DSST more than 15% of your degree you gotta sign up with one of the big three for your Bachelor, THOSE ARE THE ONLY RA COLLEGEs WITH FLEXIBLE CREDIT BY EXAMINATION POLICIES !! go with TESC they take up to 27 FEMA credits(do it at home for free open book takes a week or 2) for your free electives, beside they are a State college, Excelsior is not bad neither.good luck !

So there's no way I can go to the Uni that I like without taking the full courses?

I have seen a lot of Community Colleges accept Clep or Dantes , but they usally limit them to about 30 units and it is the General Ed Requirement area (math, science, english).

Get your bachelor in less than 6 month (full time student) from one of the big Three with a 3.8 of GPA (or higher) with a few online classes and the rest from taking tests: Clep/Dsst/TECEP/ECE/OHIO U and save time and money, and go for grad school or to work and move on with your life Wink
here's the deal :
(4yrs + 60k debt + unknown GPA ) VS (less than 1 yr + 5k or less+ tailor made GPA) both ways = BA/BS from regionally accredited school its your choice, Its your life, FYI 99% of students they take the first option because they have no clue about the second one Rolleyes good luck !

So you're saying just forget about going to college and do online college to earn a degree?

For some, going to college may be more about the experience of being there. I enjoyed my 1 year at a B& M university, too bad the classes got in the way. For me personally, I wish I had known about CLEP/DSST/ECE when I graduated high school in 1994. Getting a degree from the big 3 is quick and easy as long as you are able to motivate yourself to just do it.

Yeah, part of wanting to go to that college was because it was so beautiful and I would like to spend a lot of time there. Also, I feel that for some of the subjects I want to take, it would be better if I took them at a college. But I would also CLEP out of everything I could.
I think I want to do theater in college, and that's something I'd have to go to a college for, so that's partially why I was wondering.
