Which Accounting or Finance Course To Take?
#1
I still have a finance or accounting course left in my business major to complete and I'm not sure which one I should take. I was considering one through Penn Foster, but I'm not sure which one. I think I read that one of the Straighterline courses will fill this requirement. Does anybody have any recommendations for this from experience? Thanks!

I took Managerial Accounting w/ Straighterline, and Financial Management w/ Penn Foster. They are both very double courses. Straighterline will cost $149 and ProctorU and Penn Foster will cost you $225, plus you have to wait for the book from them. So it is more about how much you want to spend and how long you can wait. I have been renting my books with Chegg for straighterline because they have instant access for a log of them. Plus, if you return them fast they refund you the cost of the remaining time so that can save you some money.

I hope this aids in your decision.

I did Accounting II with Straighterline before they required proctoring. All the Straighterline classes pre-proctoring were easy. You could literally take the exam and Google every question and get at least a 75% on the exam.

I'm not denying nor confirming how I did the exam, I'm just pointing out that the exams via Straighterline could've been easily done that way.
