Can anyone advise me on the biology clep?
Is it really possible just to do it with IC and is it reasonable to study for just a month?

I took the CLEP after 3 months but only because I was full time in college...I think it can be done in one month if it's solid studying. It's better to use another source besides IC but there was once a thread about passing bio with just IC. I used 3 sections of IC, REA and 2 petersons test and passed with a 54. I also used Khan Academy which was extremely helpful and the exam feedback.
Do you already know some biology or is it something new? I just finished a bio class in college now because I needed 2 biologys and I know my stuff very well so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Good luck!

Back when I did it, I only really used Hippocampus and IC. A month is enough time as long as you spend a couple hours a day.
I'd go through the Hippocampus presentations first and then drill it with IC. I only went onto the Hippocampus site about three or four days before my exam and I wished I had done it sooner. HippoCampus Biology - AP Biology I - Homework Help

I am studying for this now. I have been out of college for a long time. My last biology class was in 1994!
I am studying the REA book, already took the A&P class at Straighterline and have an AP BIO book that I will go through this weekend. I just took 50 question test from the official CLEP book and scored a raw 64% which equates to a pass as a scaled score. Of course this is not good enough. There were some questions where I just guessed and some that were totally out of left field for me. The hippocampus link should be good. Also check out Khan Academy.

Don't waste your time on the IC flashcards. There are too many of them.
