Uggg after 2 months and around 30 hours I passed precal with a 72% ..
Weird questiong but am I the only one who felt beginner algebra was harder than inter or college algebra aleks? It could have been just me but that was bugging me for a while lol
Not sure what I'm gonna try next, but the more I get the less credits I need.
29 credits left for my BA :hurray:

Congratulations on your pass. Could you clarify something for me regarding ALEKS? From looking at its web site, my understanding is that you join, and take an assessment. The site then works with you to take you from where you are to where you need to go. My question is about the assessment. Does everyone take the same math assessment, or is there a different assessment for each type of math training offered? In other words, do you take an assessment, and ALEKS places you, or do you register for a particualr math section, and ALEKS gives you an assessment for that section? Thank you.

You pay them money, than you pick the subject (trig, precal, ect) you take an assessment of 25 -35 questions. Its all computer generated none of the questions will ever be the same. Then it will score you in a pie chart. And in a fraction. You can learn by picking subjects you don't know from the pie... than if you feel u can get 70% u request a new assessment and if you get 70% you passed and get credit..... no credit is given if you get a 66% than 4% from the pie due to subject learning. - assessment is the only way to gain credit

That's awesome! I definitely felt B. Algebra was a bit more labor intensive than the other ones, yes. By that, I mean there were more topics to learn. Of course, this is before I learned about requesting assessments. Bravo and keep rocking! :hurray:

Yep I'm doing 13 hrs this semmester at school and I'm hoping I can finish the final 5 classes of aleks which I hope is transfered an would leave me at 1 credit left if all aleks is 3 credits each. So with my gi bill ill take my final class in the spring and start my Masters for 2 terms I'm hoping to get half of the credits needed in that time...... but that's if everything goes perfect, but never does lol
Random question I know there are nurses here, I'm taking a health service class for BA writing called. US health services and policys, its a level 4 class, I have 100% no health class back ground. Does anyone know like a site for "dummies" that would have a cheat sheet time line and facts to help me for this class. I tried to look at ratemyprofessior site and see what students say about it and there is nothing. I hate going into a class with no idea of what to expect.
