I'm not sure what you mean by spinning it. Usually, I just list my degrees as just an independent section of my resume. However, it introduces you to several different facets of history and how social constructs relate to it. For some, this may satisfy their appetite for a Masters, for others, this may be an alternative to a direct history if they cannot find one that satisfies their needs. Like I mentioned before, for individuals that have doubts, it probably best to reach out to UMPI and gain more insight, or look for other alternatives. I created a post last year or so about a cheap Masters in History at Gettysburg College
