This looks great. I'm going to consider it. It seems like if you have a Masters they will transfer units, so potentially could be cheaper.

Please let us know how many transfer credits they accept if you decide to apply. According to their website, an unspecified number of credit hours of transfer graduate credit may be applied toward fulfillment of requirements toward the doctoral degree, but more than 50 percent of the coursework credit hours applied toward a doctoral degree must be earned at UL Lafayette. source
If 30/66 credits are transferred, the tuition should be $17,280.
Also, they are unlikely to accept ENEB/Ui1 credits for those wondering:
Quote:The student shall have earned the credits in residence as a graduate student in an accredited United States institution that regularly grants the master’s degree and/or the doctoral degree. Transfer credits from non-U.S. institutions may be granted upon special petition to the Graduate Appeals Committee. In such cases, the evidence presented in favor of transfer shall be extremely persuasive.

Dissertation credits are 24 I wonder if this is included with the half required to be completed… can this take a year to complete if someone transfer half?

Of the 66 require credits:
The dissertation is 24 credits
The required courses are 18 credits
The electives are 24 credits.
I wouldn't be surprised if they counted a master's degree in a related field towards the 24 credit electives, dropping you down to 42 credits. I'm definitely going to contact them and ask. This program looks very interesting and I never would have found it without this forum.

From what they said, it will take years to complete with a dissertation, even if one transfers max credits from a master’s or doctoral program. The director said 5 years minimum usually. I wish there was a faster path.
