Geezer and BB, you made my day! I needed some good news...Thank you.

You both have been an enormous help to me and many others on the forum.
Well, I consulted Thomas Edison's policy regarding course extensions:
Students may not apply for (or be granted) an extension after the last day of the course.
I don't think there's any way to get around it....Looks like I will be retaking the course. This time, I'm shooting for a GPA of 4.0! It's not the end of the world, but it's a hard lesson. Experience is the best teacher.

Levi,
Oh well, it was worth a shot. Whether you get the extension or retake the course you are only 3 credits away from your degree!
I second Geezerâs comment, "You should be proud of yourself! We are!!!" Well said Geezer, well said...
I couldn't agree more.

In my ignorance (and my rush to meet the graduation deadline), I was only trying to pass the course, not get an A. Therefore, (and I'm ashamed to say this) I intentionally skipped the Final Project which counts for 20% of your entire course grade. :o
Even though I got a zero on the Final Project, my written assignments and mid-term scores were all high enough that I ended up passing the whole course with a C-.
I did this
exact thing as a freshman with my B & M Intro to Sociology class. I only needed a "C" to get my tuition reimbursed from my employer, so I intentionally elected not to do the final project. The prof was aghast when she calculated my grade (I guess I would have had an A). Oh well. I was 19... priorities, you know! :p
I'm glad you are finally able to graduate, and with a 4.0 to boot! Cheers! cheersmate

Thanks Burbuja, even though it
is pretty silly that the 4.0 is only from one class.

Hey, game the system and take whatever you can get! hilarious By the way, thanks for posting your degree plan; I found it
very helpful in creating my own plan.
