Quickest path to a BS
#7
Your actually really close to an AA from Charter Oak. While I agree TESC might be a better choice for your BS there would be no real downside to picking up your AA at COSC, it would likely be your cheapest route and it only requires 1 8 week class in residence (cornerstone, which I believe fulfills your info lit credit).

Fit what you have into this list: General Education Requirements at Charter Oak State College (TESC/EC, most colleges have a general education list that looks more or less like this, some variation, these with electives to 60 credits = AA)

Quick glance says you need the folowing:

Literature (Analuzing and Interpreting Literature CLEP, your education indicates this would likely be an easy test for you

Ethics (there is a DSST or CLEP for this)

US Government (CLEP, not the easiest one but very doable)

Global Understanding (Culture and Geography DSST or World Religions)

Not sure about Math I don't know how they view pre-calc (If you need it, ALEKS is a great option)

That might be it......4-5 cleps and the cornerstone. Your looking at around $1500-$1600 and you could be done in half a semester...if you apply yourself.

TESC will look similiar for the AA, their fee is pretty large...might be worth it, will be slightly different requirements

With the above complete and your existing credits you would need around 30 UL credits and about 9 LL for a BS Liberal Studies. You could test out of that at around $1300, could be done by the end of the year if you hustle. Need to explore the best route, TESC has a lot more to offer in the IT realm than COSC.

BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.
