Heh, meanwhile I tried to get my two alt-crediteer kids into a rivalry so that they'd move faster and they both were like, "That won't work because we don't care who is faster."

That's super funny. Sounds like me challenging my younger brother. He moves at his own pace, and nothing will rush him. My sister is all about these types of challenges. She secretly lives to be the favorite child. Has 'Your Favorite Child' as the ID for my father's phone

I decided to take on one last challenge for June and jumped into the  Coursera Data Analysis and Visualization Foundations Specialization course. This course must have a high dropout rate because it has a robust set of mini projects throughout each module. It is not that the tasks are so complex, but it just feels like enough is enough at one point. I haven't been this happy to get done with a course as I was today receiving the approval on the final. The main reason I did the course was my curiosity about how the  3 UL credits transfer into UMPI (9 total with 6 LL). The courses in the Project Management plan that I feel have an outside shot for transfer with these Coursera ACE certs are:

BUS 345: Database Management Systems 
BUS 359: IT Project Management 
BUS 400: Project Management Applications 
BUS 415: Operations Management 
BUS 401: Advanced Project Management Applications II

I sent the latest transcripts off,  so I figure by next week or so, we will know the results.

BUS359 hasn't been offered in YourPace in awhile. I haven't seen any credits from anywhere transfer in for BUS400 & BUS401. Those 2 courses are both project based. You create a project plan in each course based on a project you have been apart of. You also need to complete UL courses in your major at UMPI. 

Where does it say this specialization is ACE certified? I'm looking and I don't see it. After reading the description of the 4 courses for this certificate, I don't see how those classes on data analytics would be same as these courses.

ETA: I think I found this course in the transfer database from IBM. It shows that the certificate transfers as BUS1XX.

ETA: There is a way to transfer BUS400 & BUS401 now but it's not a program available to most. YRUP 0022 & YRUP0023 transfer from Year Up.
