SELF IMPOSED MINIMIZE CONSIDERED
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Please do not view this as a political post. That is not the intent.
Through my meandering life-long learning studies I have recently taken an interest in the Modernists.
This morning I was delighted to read Ghazala Hashmi, my Lt. Governor-elect, wrote her PhD dissertation on William Carlos Williams. Williams was a Modernist poet and a life-long correspondent with Ezra Pound. As she is an academic, I'm sure I'll find more of Lt. Governor Hashmi's published work. I look forward to reading whatever I can find.
When I was still among the Mundane, my last supervisor often said - Find the good and praise it- .
a term I think she got from Alex Haley.
Random thought - Alex Haley was a Chief Petty Officer (U.S. Coast Guard).
Today is a good day to have a good day.
My Basic Program cohort will begin our discussion of René Descartes later this morning
