Ok, so I'm looking at grad school programs and some require GRE / GMAT scores to be submitted with application and some don't require it if you have an undergrad GPA over 3.0 and some don't want it at all. Can someone enlighten me on the process for taking a GRE or GMAT? What is the cost? What does it cover? How do you study for it? Where do you take it? I'm clueless about this exam and wondering how hard it would be to pass it, so I know if I should eliminate any school that requires it. I can do ok on exams I study for, but I'm not so sure I would do well on a "general studies" exam. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. I'm a little put off by a school that requires it without any regard to GPA or previous school and work experience, but it may make the difference between being able to afford an in-state online program vs a higher priced out of state online school.
