What 'combining' option was this?
At TESU, the courses are worth different things if combined on the ACE transcript rather than transcripted individually. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/TE...ivalencies

On the bright side, hopefully, this will cut down on credit denials. I just got denied in the ACE system for my Google IT Support Professional certificate because "Reason: The student did not complete the requested course/examination." Because I didn't do it on Google itself? I'm not sure. I did complete it, though. I have my Acclaim badge to prove it. I'd pursue it on ACE but it's just not worth it what with the switchover happening in a few days.

I looked at this, but the only one I could see was a single UL credit instead of LL.
Inconvenient, but a single credit isn't too big of a deal I don't think.

That happened with me with the Google it support professional certificate. I had to change my ACE email to the email I took the Google it support cert with(a school email), even though all my other details were identical.

I have good news from TESU.
Yesterday I had a chat session with TESU regarding ACE credits, Acclaim, badges and so forth.
The agent was so kind to escalate my request internally.
Here is the answer from the Academic Evaluator:
...
"Thanks for the inquiry. Although the ACE transcript will have a new layout and display, TESU will continue to accept and review ACE transcripts. As badges are now being placed on ACE transcripts - if you order one in the near future, please ensure that the proper badges are included on your ACE transcript.
If there are any issues when your transcript arrives or is processing, please check the bottom of your Academic Evaluation for notes from TESU staff.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

No point working for something that won't transfer over to ACE. Do we know if Sophia is working on adding this badge system? At least SDC, Straighterline, and a couple of other places are switching over.
Sophia already has a transcription service system in place. You can request your Sophia transcripts through Parchment. With ACE making change, schools will need to adapt. Many already accept Sophia transcripts through Parchment.
Many schools will not take Parchment no matter how credible and official it is. They want to see the transcript directly from ACE.
And many schools DO take Parchment transcripts for ACE credits. I have been enrolled into 2 that do and my husband is enrolled in 1 as well.

A few questions -
Instead of adding a completed course, we will get a "badge"?
That badge is issued by the provider? (We don't have to go and request credit?)
But, should a student go and create their own account on Acclaim right now? Or will you have an account from the fact of being on the ACE registry?
questions, questions....thanks!

R: Upon course completion a badge should be automatically issued.

R: The badge is issued by the provider. However, until the transition is not complete, I believe in some cases it will be necessary to contact the provider if for some reason something goes wrong.
But, should a student go and create their own account on Acclaim right now? Or will you have an account from the fact of being on the ACE registry?
R: It is very important to create an account on Acclaim before the badge is issued. Also, make sure the email you use for your account on Acclaim matches exactly the email you use to enroll in your courses.
questions, questions....thanks!
Hope the above helps.

on email matching with Acclaim and the other provider: in your acclaim account you can list more than one email at a time. Default and secondary emails.
