Right now im finishing up my AS at a comm college and my next step will be towards my BA in Public Administration, this is an area of study i really want to learn, for my future career will be a public service. I am not 100% sure if i want to do a CSU or make it online and do the Big 3 option. So here are a few questions for you..
Are there any more schools, other than the Big 3, that work the same way?
Has anyone gotten a BA in PA from either of them?
If so, how was it and any recommendations?
Any degree's very similar to this one?
I glanced across a BSBA with a concentration in Public Administration.. not too sure what that will consist of.

I asked this question before (specifically, about sources of credit for the PA requirements) and was told there are no tests and you have to cobble the credits together from various sources. But they are out there. I think some posted links in the question I asked a few months ago actually.

In my opinion, if you plan to continue your education I would consider a BSBA General Mgmt then go on to the Masters Public Administration. If not, then the BSBA in Public Administration would be best. Here is the link to the credit distribution page for BSBA Public Administration
Thomas Edison State College | BSBA in Public Administration Credit Distribution and BSBA General Management
Thomas Edison State College | BSBA in General Management Credit Distribution. You would take the area of study courses specific to your degree through TESC, and your local college and/or other online colleges (such as BYU..etc) and transfer those credits back to TESC.
It's a painless process and very fast. If you find the courses you need first, you can have them approved for your program by advising. While taking formal courses you can also double up by studying for and taking CLEP/DSST exams. It cuts the time of acquiring a four year degee into 1-2 years.
Good luck!
