I noticed that one of the courses in the Business Administration Major requirements on the UMPI website has changed, and that is PCJ215 has become COM210.

They're the same course essentially. There have been a few changes so we're wondering if the move to Brightspace is finally happening.

That's a question for your academic advisor. People have transferred in a variety of courses to meet this requirement over the last few years. There may be a change based on your enrollment date. It might just be a course name change due to the move to Brightspace. No way of knowing without speaking to someone at UMPI.

There's only a couple course requirements with options for classes outside of the GEC. Even in the GEC, many of hte requirements don't have a bunch of options in YourPace. On campus students have lots of options. If they are finally moving to Brightspace, then there's going to be changes as most of the courses especially the GEC and business courses were Strut's courses that were white labeled. UMPI had to create their own courses for Brightspace so when that move happens, there's going to be a lot of changes. Supposedly there won't be anymore exams. It's going to be interesting to see how this all changes.
