I passed both of these with just instantcert and iTunes University (great resource!). Your biggest aid is all the people who have posted in the exam feedback forum. Copy and paste that stuff into a list, and follow it! It has been my lifeline on how to efficiently and effectively study.
Intro to sociology should be taken first, it's a littler easier, but try not to take it lightly and you could pull a nice 65-70. You could goof off and pass with a 55 too.
Intro to psych was harder than I expected (I took it after sociology and expected it to be as easy/straightforward). It was more in depth.
Main point with both: don't just memorize instantcerts fill-in-the-blanks. Memorize the ideas, UNDERSTAND them and you will be set!
If ACE standards are waht you're shooting for, the sky is the limit! Study hard, and you're set for these! Good luck!

Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.
