Changing paths

I currently have a BSBA degree but I want to get into occupational safety. I have no background in safety at all. Would it be a good idea to go in a program offering a MS in OS considering i have no experience in it at all? Arent most masters aligned for people working in that field already? Or for people who have undergrads in that field? This program i'm looking at from CSU has an MS in OS with no consideration of undergrad/work giving me entry to start an Masters there. OR should i try transferring to a college offering a OS bachelors degree and end up with 2 bachelors degrees?  Assuming most of my credits from my bachelors would transfer to the new OS program. (ie general English math courses)   SO questions is, MS in OS or BA in OS?

First, I'd see if you need to do another degree at all. Maybe there are certifications or some other education you can get?

Second, it's fairly common for Master's programs to not need you to have a BA/BS in the major already. You can get an MBA without having a business degree, you just need some prerequisites (econ, accounting, etc.). So I would go for the cheapest option you can find IF you need a degree at all.

We have a graduate program sub-forum.

I applied and was accepted to two master's programs in safety: University of Findlay and University of Central Missouri. I have that junk associate's degree from TESU that has safety in the title, but I didn't take any safety courses. I've also never worked in the safety field. The closest thing I did to safety was security in an industrial environment.

I'll probably attend UCMO in a year or two if I have the energy. EHAC, ABET, or CEPH accreditation is a requirement for me because it's a requirement for the United States Public Health Service.
