I have been studying for this test on and off and hope to take it in a week or so. I took the 2 tests in Comex guide and i got over a 110 ten questions correct, however the REA test is so much harder. Any advice

Hi,
I just obtained 86 correct out of 140 on the REA Humanities test prep. I looked at the score chart and it says that i got an "A". Does that seem right? It is confusing.

It does seem right Stephen. Good luck on the exam.

Great job!
Social Sciences & History should be a fun test. Just look over IC's Sociology cards if you haven't taken that CLEP already, and you'll be good to go! It just builds off of general historical knowledge and basic social sciences. Good luck.

I passed the Humanities Clep before I knew of InstantCert barely, a couple points above the needed pass. If I had this site 2 years ago I would have been done by now. The flashcards and especially the specific topic forum is a must for any test taker.
Like most people said here, Humanities is passable without instantcert (barely) and the only reason I've passed was because I knew a lot of the material beforehand.
DSST/CLEP exams taken:
Humanities - 6 credits - Passed with a 54
American Literature - 6 credits - Passed with a 54
Here's to your Health - 3 credits - Passed with a 439
Civil War/Reconstruction - 3 credits - Passed with a 59

Just passed the Humanities CLEP with a 66. Much easier than the Petersons tests I was practicing online (was averaging 45-50% correct). Used a combo of the official CLEP book, Petersons online and downloaded pdf test, Instacert of course and Wiki to fill in the blanks. I was a little nervous because it was my first CLEP but I was feeling pretty good after the first few minutes. Definitely doable after about 3 weeks of light study.
