Does it makes sense to have two AAS Degrees?
#31
TESC emailed me back and they said: (basically I would have to wait until September, which really annoys me but out of my control) I am happy to complete with my AAS in ACS. I shouldnt be so greedy lol

Quote:Hello. You will need to wait until after you graduate with your first AAS to begin courses for your second AAS degree. Here is our second degree policy:

1. Students must complete a minimum of 12 additional credits in the option for a second associate degree and 24 additional credits in the area of study/core for a second baccalaureate degree beyond the date all prior degrees were completed. For a second Master's degree, students may apply no more than 12 graduate semester hours of credits from any previously earned Master's degree. The graduate credits can not be older than seven years old.
2. Students must select an option which is significantly different from their previous degree(s).
3. Students must complete all requirements for the degree as listed in the current Thomas Edison State College Catalog.
4. Course work used to fulfill the requirement in an Option/Major Area of Study for previous degrees may not be applied to an Option/Major Area of Study in a second degree. The College will not award a third baccalaureate degree.

We hope you take a few moments to take our short survey about this support experience.

Sincerely,
Donna K. Keehbler

I just emailed TESC again asking if I could start taking classes for a second AAS. LOL Lets see if they say anything different. Eventhough I have decided to go for my BSBA I wanted to get the AAS in ESST in the next graduation Dec. This way the CAPSTONE won't be available and I should be able to get that waived. I mentioned that I applied for the Sep graduation and am complete and would like to start taking a class toward the second AAS. I feel if I wait too long then the capstone will pop up and I will be annoyed.

In the mean time I will start with all my PF classes.
