Passed Uexcel Anatomy and Physiology
#1
With all the TECEPs I had to register for due to the May term cutoff for them counting toward the residency requirement, it was a big risk taking this expensive exam because I didn't have a lot of time to study. I have a lot of exposure to A&P, but the Uexcel is very difficult. This is definitely not A&P for non-majors. I skimmed through a book for a couple of hours and prayed I would pass. After I finished the test, I was sure that I, not only failed, but failed with an F. I ended up passing with a C. The test is a 3-hour one, but there is no reason for them to give you three hours to complete 120 multiple choice questions. There wasn't even any identification of body parts from pictures. I think the three hours is just an excuse for them to gouge their nursing students.

There are Uexcels for A&P I and A&P II, but I took the 6-credit version that covers both because I need six credits for the ASNSM. If the equivalency is still the same as it was a year or two ago, TESU gives eight credits for this exam. I'm just happy that I didn't have to suffer through two Straighterline or Study.com courses with 15+ quizzes and exams each. The Study.com courses also have a million videos to watch. I don't have time for that.

Very impressive! Not just this class, but the body of work you have completed through these various methods.

Congratulations again!

Thank you.

I forgot to add that I had the Seeley's book because I was planning on taking the Straighterline courses. I didn't buy the textbook recommended by Excelsior. I think the Seeley's book would have been good if I had more time to read it. It has very detailed chapter summaries. A&P books tend to be huge, and it's nearly impossible to absorb all the information in a short period of time.

Lol, same here... I bought the Seeley book, but ended up taking the UExcel. Studied it quite intensely and took it the same day as Pathophysiology. Passed with an A. It was a lot of hard work, but it was something I enjoyed so it didn't felt too bad. Big Grin Unfortunately, TESU awards only 6 credits for the exam.

Congratulations on passing, btw!! :hurray:
