Hi Guys
I am finishing up anatomy and I currently have a 89 in anatomy's lecture and a 82 in lab. But I ran into some trouble. There was a group of people whom attended lecture and lab and I noticed that 2 will give each other answers on quizzes in lecture or will help and become obvious once the teacher leaves the classroom. and the other 2 will cheat in lab. Well one of them cheated off of me in lab , I noticed this and the next few times I changed my answers around , which was stupid. I reported this incident to the dean , BUT I wanted to know should I have just minded my business?

Some people will tell you to mind your own business. That's their opinion. If you're taking anatomy, the cheaters are probably taking it to get into some type of health profession. Do you want your care to come from people who cheated? I want my care to be delivered by the most qualified who actually know things. I would confront anyone who tried to cheat off of me. People now say "helping out a classmate" instead of cheating.

If someone is cheating off of you, then it's certainly your business. Especially because many times, the school considers the person who "gave" the answers as much of a cheater as the person "taking" the answers. You could have gotten into trouble just as easily as any of them.

Oh I didn't give answers she actually while I was writing down my answers looked at the paper and started writing , for every turn she did that. The others cheated since 2nd week and haven't got caught.

And that can be quite enough to get you into trouble. Personally, I don't hold with the whole "mind your own business" thing. If they're cheating, that's enough to justify reporting it to the Prof, they don't need to be cheating off of you.
