Hi all, I prepared a plan for my BABA Project Management at UMPI.
I searched a lot in this forum for the plan of this particular degree but couldn't found, so I made one for me and everyone doing same degree.
This plan satisfies the following suggestions made by various members who studied at UMPI previously.
1. You should complete at least 30 credits/10 courses, this plan contains 17, because most of the UL courses are must and some LL are easier to take at UMPI than alternate sources. If there is a chance to reduce 2-3 courses please suggest.
2. Some courses from Saylor are included, because you can learn the courses for free, and $5 for exam is cheapest of all.
3. BIO 101L is replaced with Intro to Meteorology from SDC according to the latest course transfer guides. Database Management is another course to take from SDC.
4. Sophia and IC follows the usual suggestions.
Please review and suggest the necessary changes. Thank you.

* If you take Sophia's (Intro to Statistics) in addition to (College Algebra), both will satisfy (MAT 140: Mathematics for Business).
* If you take Study.com's (Communication 120), I believe it would satisfy both (PCJ 215: Business Communication) AND (GEC 1C).
* Sophia's (Project Management) satisfies (BUS 141: Introduction to Project Management with Microsoft Projects), but ss20ts and ashkir (both finished their degrees at UMPI) recommend not to take Sophia's course. I forgot the exact reason however.

The reason why not to take Project Management @ Sophia is because the class it replaces at UMPI ends with a project. This project is used in later classes, so you're just hampering your degree progress if you transfer in Sophia's Project Management.
Business 303: Management Information Systems @ SDC can be used for BUS-244 Management Information Systems. SDC's MIS shouldn't be that much more difficult than UMPI's. It's a pretty easy course. There ARE 3 assignments, but they're fairly straightforward. If you score high on the exam, you can submit half-hearted papers and pass.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Yeah the project you create in Intro to PM you use in the 2 UL PM courses. You really want that template. It will make the project sooooo much faster and easier. Sophia's PM course isn't about PMI which UMPI's is so it's not really useful.
BUS244 has an exam as the Final Assessment. Well at least it did last year when I took it. There are no other papers or assignments.

So, what if someone already transferred Sophia's PM?

You have to request to take UMPI's version. It's not the end of the world, but you would've saved time by not taking the Sophia course in the first place.

You can ask to take BUS141 and they'll let you. I did just that. Or you can deal with creating the template from scratch without taking BUS141 but it will be time consuming since you don't have access to the course. BUS400 and BUS401 are not taught on the learning platform. You complete those 2 courses directly with the professor.

Interesting, did they change it so there is no need for a science class with a lab? I don't think Intro to Meteorology has a lab...

Yes, as per the latest transfer guides. It makes things a lot easier.
Also is the courses list on yourpace page correct? because in Project management curriculum, under choose two we have only two choices
BUS 141: Introduction to Project Management with Microsoft Projects
BUS 240: Change Management
BUS 343: Project Risk & Cost Management
BUS 345: Database Management Systems
BUS 359: IT Project Management
BUS 400: Project Management Applications
BUS 415: Operations Management
Choose two of the following:
BUS 245: Programming for Managers
BUS 401: Advanced Project Management Applications II
But catalog.umpi.edu have 3 choices to choose from (http://catalog.umpi.edu/preview_program....turnto=155)
Project Management & Information Systems Concentration - 24 Credit Hours
Choose TWO of the following:

Not all UMPI classes are on YourPace. In-person students might have 3 classes to choose from, while YourPace students only have 2.
