Uexcel Policy to change in September
#1
We wanted to let you know about an upcoming change in our exam registration process.

Starting September 2, 2015, when you register for UExcel exams, you will need to choose a specific term in which you take your exam. You will select from either an 8-week term or a 16-week term within a specific trimester. You will have two trimesters from which to select a term.

This process will help you better plan ahead in preparing for your exams. You'll still be able to schedule your exam whenever you want within your chosen term. However, if you do not take the examination within the term selected, contact Test Administration through your MyExcelsior account for further information.

Just got this in an email regarding booking Uexcel tests makes things a little more difficult. Since I'll have to select a term to take the exam instead of having six months to decide when I'm ready. banghead
Don't forget that gaining college credit by taking exams is one of the reason's we're here. That's mainly possible through the flashcards made available by the owner of this forum : InstantCert Plus of course your hard work in learning and reviewing

Ew. This is how TECEP registration works, but a new term starts monthly. Does Excelsior have set semesters, or do they have monthly start dates?

Another thumbs down for this change.
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.

I hate that TESC does it this way! So annoying. I can understand why they use this system for classes, but entirely uncertain why they use it for testing?!? Makes absolutely no sense...

While I'm venting, why do they close registration in advance, rather than letting you add a class right up to the start date??? Also makes no sense...
