Yikes, I didn't know they could do that...sorry for the misinformation!

Yeah, it's annoying. Kind of like the discussion I had today that basically involved being told they'd decide if they want to keep the previous designation or shift to the new one when they evaluate my courses for graduation. Which means I'll be looking for another CIS course to replace those credits now as opposed to freaking out after expecting to graduate. Maybe I'll knock out the straighterline programming course...

"I finally received an answer from the Dean's office. The Saylor Academy courses will transfer as follows:
Strategic Information Technology= CIS-301 Management Information Systems (this will replace the previously approved DSST exam by the same name)
Computer Communications & Networks= CAP-216 Introduction to Computer Networks (this option will not work in the CIS area of study)
I hope this answers your question.
Patty"
Note: I only asked about those two courses and how they would fit into my AOS for CIS
ah that sucks.I was hoping the Saylor MIS class would come in as MIS and the Strategic Information Technology would come in as MIS 2.

Does study.com digital marketing work in the cis AOS?? This would be amazing news!
TESU March 2020 Graduation
--ASNSM Mathematics
--BSBA Accounting
--BA Computer Science
University of Alaska Fairbanks (December 2021 Graduation Goal)
--MBA (2/10 : 4.0)
I started this journey in the summer of 2016. I hoped to be done sooner, but I am still proud of the rate at which I have gotten my schooling done with respect to the many months of military training and deployments I have undergone.

Yeah honestly, I may need to send a separate request.
Might be best for you to go ahead and also send them a request.
They answered my main question, but did not answer the added question about the saylor courses.
