Intro Psych was my first (and only so far) CLEP test too.
Everyone has given you great advice so far but just wanted to add one thing I haven't noticed anyone mention that helped me break up the monotony of studying for this test, I played it in the background when I was doing other things and some of the things actually stuck and actually came up on the test... of course unfortunately I can't remember specifically what those things were now but...
I watched Professor Paul Bloom on the Yale Open Courses channel on YouTube.
Like I said, so much easier than just reading reading testing reading, I even listened to some while I was playing video games lol.
Some people learn better from reading than hearing, but I think its good to mix it up. I'm happy with TESC but I have to admit my biggest disappointment was finding out that they didn't do video lectures like Coursera does.
