My studying did me good, I got a 77 with 47 being needed. Having done the test, I think that the test does follow the new 2007 Fact Sheet fairly closely, and there weren't very many questions about ancient history. One thing I would recommend beyond just the general books about the Middle East, is to look into a book about Middle East feminism and the rise of novels and newspapers in the middle east. (I suspect the ones the Fact Sheet suggest would be good) These subjects are listed on the Fact Sheet, and they in fact did have questions about them on the test. I probably got these wrong because I didn't study that part as much.
