Any Tips on HRM?
#1
Anybody got any tips on the DSST HRM exam? I meant to take this a couple of weeks ago but got delayed. It seems so easy compared to many others, but I don't want to take it too lightly.

Anybody who's taken it I'd love to hear your comments.

Thanks!

I can't say about the DSST test exactly, since I took the EXE version. However, I am told that the DSST is a good deal easier than the EXE version. I used exclusively Instant Cert and scored a C on the test. If you study IC well, and look up stuff on Wikipedia, you should be just fine. I studied for only a week (less, really). You shouldn't take any test too lightly, but I'm confident that if you spend a couple weeks with IC and Wikipedia, you'll do fine.

Good Luck!

I took this one back in the summer of this year. It's a "strange combination" of DSST Supervision and CLEP Management. If you've taken these two already, you should be able to do well. I used IC solely for this one and concentrated on the DSST Study Guide outline as I reviewed. I was able to score a 65 with a week's study. Level of difficulty for me was in between easy & medium....

Hope this helps,

I took this one today and got a 67. It is a strange exam. It does have a lot of common-sense type of questions and the rest are memorization. I just studied Instantcert and that was enough to get me through.

Thanks for the advice guys. Now I'm onto my final, the dreaded Money and Banking and then I'll be done. Its my Christmas gift to myself...a degree!
