Is Calculus w/ Elementary Functions an old test? Was it recently replaced with just 'Calculus'? I may have to take this test soon, but there's very little feedback on it. IIRC, there was no feedback thread for this exam in the exam feedback section.
I took the College Algebra CLEP a while ago and scored a 67. I used ALEKS to study for it, but there does not seem to be an equivalent to ALEKS for calculus. I need access to some resource or study guides that have lots of examples. This is why ALEKS was such an effective study tool. Text books just don't have enough example problems.
I'm looking to invest in a Calc CLEP study guide. If anyone here has the REA Guide for CLEP, please let me know.
Thank you.

A person at my testing center passed the Calculus CLEP last month. Since I am planning to take this in the future, I asked what they used to study. They recommended the book "Calculus for Dummies":
Calculus For Dummies:Book Information - For Dummies
I noticed that they also have a workbook:
Calculus Workbook For Dummies:Book Information - For Dummies
I hope this helps!
P.S. I would really appreciate it, if you would leave feedback on your resource materials.

I have looked all over (College Board website, Official CLEP Study Guide 2009, and Peterson's practice tests) and I am only seeing Calculus, nothing about Elementary Functions.
The Official CLEP Study Guide says the exam was changed earlier this year. Their website has a breakdown of content (plus see PDF page):
CLEP: Calculus
There are some study materials listed in this thread:

If you search the forum, you may be able to find more information, too.
Best wishes on your studies and exam!

I just purchased the REA Guide for Calculus and "The Humongous Book of Calculus Problems". Tons of example problems in the latter book. I'm considering purchasing the CLEP Professor for Calculus. I haven't been able to find much feedback on it though. Anyone here used it before?

I have seen CLEP Professor recommended for another math test:

It looks like an interesting idea for this.
Another possibility that I have been told about is Calculus Made Easy by Thompson.

Great advice! I never took the Calculus CLEP, but Thompson's book (revised by Gardner) helped get me through Calculus classes. Its a great introduction to Calculus, and explains differentiation and integration in such simple and easy to comprehend terms. If every math resource was as well written as Thompson's, there would be a lot more mathematicians!
Here's the ISBN of my copy and what I believe to be the latest printing (originally published in 1910!): 0-312-18548-0. Good luck!
