dfrecore Wrote:I have tried to help a lot of people on this forum, please tell me how many people you created degree plans for, or who told you that you helped them to progress or even get a degree.
All I was trying to point out is that it CAN be less expensive for some people to take TECEP's, or they are helpful in some instances in some degree plans.
I have to interject here that dfrecore has helped me (and I'm sure many others) tremendously. Not only with her various posts, but by taking time to look at my academic evaluation and give some helpful pointers.
I loved the SL courses I took (24 credits in about 2 months), but it was actually due to her encouragement here on the forum that I eventually registered for my first TECEP - which I enjoyed as well.
In my experience, both SL and TECEPS are an excellent way to earn credit from home. Both can help maximize any available educational funds. Both are helpful in their own way.
In the end, as dfrecore said, we can share how we utilized xyz for credit. We all learn differently, and we all have preferences. Sharing what worked for each of us is always good, with the understanding that it may be the opposite of what works for others
